Aww, man!  I try and keep everyone's project in my head too!!

How's your 2L build up going, btw?  I'm 90% done pulling the 1.8 out
of my car as of today.  The massive dumping of snow in the Rochester NY
area gave me a 4 day weekend, so I tore into the car.  I took lotsa
pictures as I was taking things apart for a future web page...

Good to hear that the seat-of-the-pants dyno is mostly unaffected, but
if you think about the pysics, the power should be 'off' a bit in
the lower rpm band, no matter which gear you're in.  A few real
dyno runs would be the only way to prove it though...
