1. Check the bar for any rub marks where it could be coming in contact with 
the car.  If it's rubbing,  is it the correct bar?  

2. Check that the bar is centered.  Re-center if it's not.

3. Do you have poly or rubber bushings in the mounting brackets?  If you have 
poly, make sure you lubricate them, when their dry they'll squeak/chatter.
