Re: Ever broken a windshield from a pothole?

In Michigan on I-75, I was driving my Cabbie, in a one lane construction zone
doing 75mph, when WHAAAAMMM! Didn't have time to even react. Dented a rim
and snapped off my rear view mirror! Next thing I know, I'm passing a half
dozen cars on the shoulder changing tires. Didn't pop the tire though,
although it did have to be replaced. Then someone told me its the MICH DOT
policy that if you report a pothole that damaged your car and they don't fix it
(the pothole) in 24 hrs, they'll pay to fix your car! Guess which got fixed
first? Yea, made me feel sooo much better....
