parking lights on all the time????

My parking lights seem to come on whenever the engine is running. Somtimes 
they go off for a few seconds but 99% of the time they're on. When I flip the 
switch to 'on' they get a lot brighter. I dont know if it's important but the 
interior lights stay on too. Anyone know how to fix this. BTW: it's not the 
switch, I already checked.
