RE: Vanagon Driving Lamps compared to Euro Scirocco

I've never actually looked at the van lights close-up but ETKA lists
different part numbers for the main lamps - not something they normally do
without reason... maybe the backing plate and corresponding mounts are
different?
The vans with the square lamps are way less common than sciroccos over here
so I've never bothered considering them seriously.

Please note that these are Euro models. I am now curious about the
driving lights. 

A friend of mine (that owns several "Westy" Vanagans (with US lights))
and I compared the headlights to those on my '82 and concluded "no
way!" on the headlights. But we did not bother to compare the driving
lights . . .
