Re: Easy mods for MkII 8v?



Standard procedure:
Dual outlet manifold/dual downpipe or header, 2" exhaust from TT or
Eurosport, etc..
K&N filter (debatable about horsepower, but it lasts forever if you clean
and re-oil it, and that's cool)
Golf/Jetta throttle body (and portmatch the intake manifold to it)

If you want to get into more serious stuff, then:
Euro distributor
G-grind cam
port/polish the head/intake manifold

Heck, you can really go wild and put in a 10:1 bottom end or an Audi 2.0L
bottom end. There are all kinds of things you can do!
