Re: -non-rocco- vw (old) beetle question

Dude,
compared to the prices you pay for H20 parts, ALL air-cooled stuff is cheap!
On my 58, I have a 1 5/8" merged exhaust- top of the line header and tuck
back muffler- it cost me around $110. Compare that to the TT exhaust (one
of the less expensive companies) for my 84 GLI, $180. I know... less
tubing... but the Jetta exhaust is relatively straight, and the bug exhaust
is a plumbers nightmare!

Anyway, I'd ask Mark at AAD, I'll bet he can get the stuff.
I always order from the companies in the magazines in CA. there aren't too
many air-cooled specific companies on the east coast. Id suggest getting
your hands on a Gene Berg catalog- even if you never buy from him- the
catalog has a ton of info to make your bug live.
