ok here's what i did. took off the pi[pe connecting and broke up all the
material and sucked it out with a shopvac. worked well and didn't run the
risk of sucking something bad into the engine.. stary it, blip the throttle a
few times . turn it off then reconnect the pipe and realy to go.
ok the info on the emissions things. yes removing it is illegal, but if you
run a clean engine and car it shouldn't hurt the invironment any more than it
has bee. the cat cuts down on co emmisions, whick is a green house gas....
but it produces so)sulfur monoxide) whice travels up into the atmosphere and
combines to form so2(sulfur dioxide) which causes acid rain.. btw acid rain
is a big thing where i live.. so there s that.
