RE: Scirocco survey

Question 1:

Back when I was about 14 or 15(a while back, don't remember exactly) my
neighbor had a silver MKI(w/ automatic!) I thought that car was cool. I
also drooled over GTIs. I never thought I'd have one, so they kinda went by
the wayside. When I got my license, my first car was a Pinto. Had guages
instead of idiot lights. Then, I had a <gasp!> honda. I'm ashamed, yes.
Anyway, went through a mess of cars, 72 Nova, couple pickups(I live in WI,
what did you expect?) and other assorted beasts that have long since passed
to the great parking lot in the sky. When I got the rocco, I was actually
going to get a Dodge Ramcharger. Didn't happen, found the 'rocco, there you
go. I'm happier with the 'rocco than I would have been with the Ramcharger
anyway.

Question 2:

I actually wanted either a Rabbit GTI, Golf GTI, or a Fox. Couldn't find
one in town, found the rocco, drove it, had to have it. Got the Golf GTI
now, though :) 

As for the financial question, I work in an auto parts store. I don't get
paid nearly enough, IMHO. Got a good discount on parts, though :) Now, if I
could get them to carry VW performance goodies.... Ah well, tax refund time
is near.
