them darned O2 sensors...

	i want to thank eevrybody for their quick responses.  here's the
thing, tho.  i have a universal O2 sensor that i purchased quite some time
ago.  unfortunately, it is being installed on a motor that doesn't have
the O2 sensor on it already.  therefore, i have to splice wires into
connectors that don't exist.  this is why i've been considering buying a
new O2 sensor.

	with my universal three wire O2 sensor, two are white (+), and
one is black (-).  i can figue out the - easily enough, but since the two
whites are +, i don't know which + lead to plug them into.  does it matter
if i cross the two + leads?  will anything get fried in the computer?  any
and all help is greatly appreciated.  thank you.
