Well, a quick update on the Scirocco (for those of you following the
story)......I checked out the CV joints, perfect.  looks like someone
replaced them just before I bought the car. (I even felt bad about cutting
the boots, which I replaced in case anyone has to ask).


so now, I am back where I started with this one........clutch?  it's only on
deceleration (or downshifting), and it's a bad shudder.  Actually feels like
the clutch is chattering, is this possible without any symptoms during
acceleration?
