Re: engine oil leak advice



I had an oil leak and couldn't see where it was coming from.  The dealer
here uses a dye to see where the leak is coming from.  They put it in,
you go back later and they shine a blacklight around the engine area,
showing exactly where the oil is coming from.  Turned out I had a
defective factory VW oil filter.
