Scirocco Top Speed?

Okay, just got done racing a 300 ZX on my way home today (beat him, but did
not kick his ass unfortunately). We were way over 100 MPH, I think I made a
sustained 127 to 128 in my stock '87 16V for about a two mile and passed the
ZX on a straight flat stretch of highway. I feel that my Scirocco's
speedometer is VERY accurate and don't think I could go much faster then that.

What is the top speed of your Scirocco? I have an original brochure that says
the top speed is 122, but my 12 year old car pushes a whole 5% faster. Any
interesting tid bits to add?
