You will need to  make a block off plate for the front of the 3A block to cover the
PCV breather housing hole, so that you can mount your pressure regulator. The other
hole can be plugged with a standard freeze plug. If you can, use the distributor
from the Audi and wire in the vw knock sensing ignition. Use a head gasket made for
the 2.0. From what i've heard, if you are using a solid lifter head the Audi 36mm
oil pump will be too big. Do you have to change the oil pickup or the oil pan? was
the audi 80 engine mounted longitudinally?
