Re: Idle Problems



    I believe this very well could be the problem. I poured water over the
intake manifold and it made the car run rough. You may ask why but I had an
older scirocco ( 1981 ) and I used to drive threw puddles!! ALL THE TIME!!!
Anyway It stated running rough when I hit a puddle. Determined to stop this
problem I stated looking for answers. In my search I found that when I poured
water onto the intake manifold it ran rough. So I decided to put new injector
seals in to see if that would stop the problem, and VOILA it stopped it!! So I
will have to try putting new ones in (There dirt cheap and it is quick to do )
Of course first I must put my tranny back in :)
