I replaced the headliner in my 81.  My mom (who is a seamstress) dissected 
the old headliner.  We bought vinyl a little thicker than what was in there 
and she sewed up a new one using the old one as a pattern.  I used this stuff 
called Goop to glue the headliner around the edges of the car.  It looks 
quite nice.  Now I just need to take a dryer or heat gun to the headliner to 
flatten out the ruffles.
