If you can get access to some air tools, just hammer the nut free of the shock
shaft.  If you don't have access to air tools, try to find a box-end wrench to
fit the nut (you'll need a step down wrench).  Use a small socket to
supplement the torque on your allen key - if it breaks, it was a cheap piece
of shit - I've used allen keys for years and haven't broken one yet.
