mint 1975 mk1 rocco for sale

just thought i'd let you guys know: there's a guy somewhere up here
near toronto that has a 1975 scirocco in unbelievably good shape.

he's the original owner. it is still the original mars red (slightly
faded, but otherwise mint except for a bit of touch up paint applied in
1977). original 1.5 (or 1.6??) carbuerated motor, interior, glass,
seals, etc., etc. etc.

it has basically been stored for the past ten years and had never seen
a winter at all before that time. the owner has been pampering this car
since day 1. it's been taken out every year to make sure that
everything is still moving properly. he takes it down the road and does
a couple u-turns to make sure that the CVs get stretched out a bit,
yadda-yadda-yadda.

oh, and it has _____NO RUST____. i'm trying to stress this as much as
cuzin did. and he knows dubs. he knows where to look and what to look
for. not a spot of rust did he find. not a little bit hidden somewhere
in the corner of the engine bay; not a smidgen underneath the wheel
well, nary a flake of rust is to be seen at any place in this car. do
you know what i'm trying to say to you? this 23 year old car could have
been rolled off of the assembly line last year.

oh yeah, it's got 80,000 original kilometers. and last but not least,
the asking price:

$3000.00 canadian dollars. that's it. not a penny more.

the only problem is, my cuz said that i'd have to kill his family if i
wanted to find out where this thing is hiding. what the hell good is
family if they can't share the goods with ya, huh?

anyways, just thought i'd pass it along.
