Re: Voltmeter

Lots of VW's came stock with a VDO voltmeter, including my Rabbit GTi (as did
all Rabbit GTi's- actually, they all came with a voltmeter AND an oil temp
guage, and some even came with an oil pressure guage- '83's, I think), and my
'86 Scirocco 8v. It's my impression that later Scirocco 8v's came with a
voltmeter, while early Scirocco II's came with an oil temp guage... Then you
get up to a '92 GTi, and they don't have either! What gives? lame...

    '83 Scirocco (not for long!)
'84 GTi (soon to be resurrected, thanks to Brian Honnold)
    '86 Scirocco (broken frame... still)
    '87 QSW (daily driver)
