  I ran an extra wire from the battery, fused of course, directly to my
voltmeter.  I grounded it on the chassis right where the shifter arm
unit bolts onto the car.  I have a 90 amp unit and I normally run 13.8 to
14 volts with nothing on.  With everything on, heater, stereo, flashers,
defrost, and 480 watts of headlights, I drop down to 13.5 volts.  Needle
doesnt jump around either when I turn on the blinkers.
