If it was an '92 8V GTI, it came with 9.4 inch front brakes. But the MC
should be the same.

All A2 16V GTIs in the U.S. came with 10.1" front discs. 

I am also reasonably sure that after a certain point (1985-1987???), for
Sciroccos at least, the 8V and 16V used the same MC. (this means the 8V
was upgraded).

Can anyone confirm or deny this?
