Hope to be my last request for GTI help..

I just found something out that may be relevant to my bog/hesitation
problem. It only bogs (not even so much a bog as if there is
nothing.....blank, just dead for a second) if the accelerator is pushed in a
harder fashion........... like a normal rev kind of push. If I stand under
the hood while it is idleing, I can pull the cable and it will slowly raise
in RPMs without the hesitation or bog. I have tried and re-tried most
suggestions...but I just today noticed this reaction to a slow "gassing". It
seems to only do the bog when hitting it harder, and when cold. I'm hoping
this new found info will jog someone's "been there" memory and put an end to
my GTI problems and the "begging of the list for help" posts. BTW, it starts
damn near right off, then idles without any coaxing from the gas pedal.
