I used to use Fram. But the bypass is a cheesy cardboard POS.

When I switched to Mann/OE type filters, the valve clatter while warming
up on my Hydro head was greatly diminished.

If you look into the filter you can see the difference in quality. I'll
double check this tonight as I have both kinds sitting around at home.

FWIW, I think the extra couple of dollars is worth it to get the better
OE types (avail from list vendors!)

The Fram 2870A (I think that is the right #, I'm at work and can't check)
DOES have the bypass valve in it.
