Kevin's HP estimates..

The dual outlet and dual downpipe is a MAJOR improvement over the single
strangulator that came with (and is assumed on) the U.S. JH. I'd say that
alone is worth at least five HP over the factory rating.

Based on that (and comparing with Meeze's dynoed JH), I'd asy closer to
115-120 at the crank.

Depending on the tranny, 0-60 times should be somewhere between low
eights and mid sevens for a MK1.

The best Euro Scirocco GTi (Mk1) 0-100 kmh time I saw was 8.1 (112Hp).
The Euro cars were lighter, but were hampered by the wider ratio tranny
until the close ratio came out.

This is only a guess!

Don't hate me, Kevin... I am just being honest...

	Here are my estimates:

New JH .020 over for 1803cc 92hp
compression increased about .2-.4 93hp
K&N + drilled air box 93hp
80mm airflow+performance CO setting	94
disconnected PCV 94
Audi 5k tb+ ported and polished intake 96
home p&p head + p&p intake runners 99
ceramic coated pistons+ SDF skirt coat 99
15w50 synthetic oil 99
portmatched dual downpipe 101
hollow cat 102
2 1/4" non mandrel bent exhaust
Dynomax superturbo muffler 103
G-Grind cam+sport springs+Ti retainers	108
euro distributor 16 degrees advance	112
MSD 6A+Blaster Coil, non resistor plugs
W6DC(colder) and non res wires 112

>I'd say 130 is accurate at the wheels. What kinda times should i be
pulling?

Um, 130 at the wheels would be like 150 at the engine. With 123
at the
engine, my 16v pushes 112 to the wheels. According to my estimate,
you're
pushing 112 at the crank, which would mean about 92 to the wheels.

Times, for an A1? Pretty fast... Low 8s to 60, I'd say. Those
cars are
light... so with an engine output of 112hp, you should be pushing 60 just
a
couple ticks slower than a stock 16v.... which would be low 8s.

According to Gary (thanks!) 1996 Acura Integra SE's will do 7.9 to 60
with
a 1/4 mi in 16.1sec. I have a feeling that is the VTEC engine... I think
the non-VTEC is around 8.5 sec... If it's modded, figure low 8s. So,
that
would make sense. He would most definitely start pulling on you at speed
cause, well, your car is shaped like a brick and his isn't. :)

Duh!! :) That's got to be the best .sig out there. :)
...it's up there with the George Carline one. :)
