I would have to say that the one of the better ways to go, and one of the
cheaper ways is using boge Turbo gas shocks.  They are very solid and the
price is not bad, less than $200 for all four.  As far as springs, i have
H&R springs and i love them.  They are nice and stiff(not unbearable), and
they lower the car about 1.3 inches.  They can also be had for less than
$200 dollars.  Hope this helps.
