RE: Cold start valve



Another thing you can do if that doesn't help is to run another big fat wire
(4 ga for example) from the battery negative post to the alternator case.
This VASTLY improved my cold starting, believe it or not.  You can test this
out simply by using jumper cables.  It seems you can never have too many
grounds on a VW!
