As long as they're both 8v's, it's VERY easy. As easy as it gets, really. Maybe
some minor things you'd have to change, but putting a 1.8L in a car that
originally had a 1.7L is one of the easiest engine swaps there is. Everything
bolts right up. You should just change a few other things, too, like the fuel
distributor, to get the full effect of the increased power.
