That relay is for the high speed of the fan.  It allows the fan to come on
at either 105 degrees or, when the A/C is switched on and the fan needs to
come on, it will cause the fan to come on high speed.  It will not work off
of the A/C switch however of your A/C system has no pressure in it.

During normal operation, the fan comes on the low speed at 95 degrees
