On the Callaway kit I have(sitting in a box), the oil was picked up from a
T on top of the oil filter housing, where a gauge sender(oil temp?) is
located. The return is supposed to be made by drilling into the block,
between the 2nd and 3rd cylinder. The reason for it being mounted here,
instead of going directly to the oil pan is so that the drain is never
blocked, but is always able to flow freely. Also, you want the return line
to be straight, as there isn't much pressure in the return line, relative
to the feed line. For the return there is a fitting you can buy from ND
that you simply tap a hole into the block, screw this fitting in, and add
the oil line. I bought one from them a few years back. They could probably
also send you the pages out of the manual that describe how to route the
oil lines.
