Take your door panels off. Look to see if the plastic is still
there. I bet it is not there or untapped. If it is not there cut a
piece of plastic to fit. If it is there but not taped down. then
tape the edges real good. most of the leaks in vw's I've seen are
because someone worked on the car and ripped the plastic off the
doors.

Hi all,

Back on the list again after 3 months of being off it.
Moved my home page too. Redid my Scirocco site - well
I stole VW's site and changed it around some :-) there
web designeres need some help anyway.

But the questions is:

Every time it rains here (and it rains ALOT - more than
it did in Alberta anyway) my car fills up with water.

Now if I stocked my car with fish I could just pop the hatch and whip
out the ol fishing pole and catch supper. However...

It seems to be leaking somewhere around the drivers side passenger
seat. The floor fills up with water but the seats are dry. The
drivers floor pan (infront of the drivers seat) is dry(ish). The
floor pan infront of the passenger seat (driver side) is under about
1/2 inch of water. I looked around and couldn't find anywhere its
coming in from.

Anyone have any ideas? Right now I'm down to - it must be leaking in
the window and running down inside the body and out onto the floor.
But that makes little sense and only that one part of the car is
flooding.

AAAARRGH. On the plus side its not snowing...

Now I have a use for old newspapers - very absorbent.
