If I may add to what Owen has suggested here. This is essentially what I
did, except, instead of buying a straight arm....I took a stock arm, heated
the first bend with a propane torch, bent it straight in a vise, then did
the same for the second bend. Afterwards I painted it black. I then mounted
a 20" blade(22" will also work, but may hit lower seal). For as much sweep
as you can get, lengthen the arm that pivots on the motor itself by a bit
less than 1/4"....gave me damn close to 180 DEG sweep. But having access to
my father's welding and cutting tools made this an easy mod. I also park it
straight up the centre...........makes the "cheater" monowiper cars green
with jealousy when they see it.....even moreso when they see it during
operation. If you want any more info, just email and I'll fill ya in.
