ATE Power Discs are a good upgrade. They are vented and slotted for
better heat disipation. This was the first thing I upgraded on my '82.
 
I use Pagid pads.

I have been told I need to get two new rotors for my car to pass
inspection.
I have a 82 and was wondering what kinda upgrade I could go
to?.....Anyone
have any used ones?
