Bilstein Install

Hopefully someone can guide me.

I put on a set of rear Bilstein sports yesterday on the 78 but I'm not sure 
I got the bump stops on the right way.

Here's how I did it.

The lower spring perch went on first then the rubber bump stop with the 
washer pressed into the top.  Then the 4 inch long tube looking thing that 
covers the bump stop.  Then the spring, cap, spacer and nut.  I was just 
thumbing through my Bently and it showed the bump stop going above the tube 
looking thing.

Which is right????
