Weird and frightening happenings

So last night, I'm driving into work, playing tag along some back roads with
a 540. (Nice car! He was probably just toying with me, but it was fun
anyway.) My engine cut out three times. No spark (I guess, cuz the tach
dropped to zero.) I hammered it, and nothing, then it sparked up again.
Nothing like coasting to put a bit of fear into ya...

You may recall that I had some fusebox problems a couple of weeks ago, so I
wonder if this is related? I've checked for loose wires under the hood and
nothing obvious shows up. My theory is if it was fusebox related, it would
be all or nothing, not sporadic like this...

Any ideas?
