[radiator] stop-leak-goo?

I'd hoped that the coolant loss I'd been experiencing since I replaced my
pump was just an insufficiently tightened hose, but I'm now pretty certain
it's in the radiator itself.  Is that stop-leak stuff as crappy and
half-assed as it seems like it'd be, or is it a rational alternative to
replacing a radiator with what seems to be a very small leak?  Does it gum
up the non-leaking parts?
