I need help with my rims!

Hey!

I need help about my mags. When I got the car, 
the guy who owned before painted them the same
color as the car. Looks kinds nasty. I tried painting
them silver, but it didn't turn out too nice. Is
there something I can use to take off all the paint
that has been put on them and get them back to how they were
originally? BTW they are stock 13" 7 spoke, just
incase that means anything.
