You really need to think about the origional design conecpt of all
econobox cars.

Fuel economy?  Sure!
Affordable transportation?  Damn straight.
Safe cars? Must be. 
Performance? No. Thats only a side effect.

So then people like us take these plane jane cars and start to redesign
(or buy design ideas from shops.) these cars to make them become
performers.
