everyone else do?<

Yes I wish we had more time at the track. Kathy and I needed to get up
to L.A. to pick up some stuff from our favorite water sports shop. The shop
was down to the
last day and we closed the door for good. We got some Windsurfing stuff
for
less than cost. Great deals from a great shop. Too bad it is closed for
good now.
I would have liked to have checked out your car more. It looks like a good
start
and I think it will be quite fast. It looks like you will run in SM and not
DSP.
My times were not that fast this week. The track was set up for speed and
not
turns. My car has no power yet. The 1.7 or 1.6 or 3 and 1/2 piston motor
just can't
go that fast. I will be putting in a JH and make that chassis move.
Times: 85.7, 84.2, 84.2 (small spin) I could have pushed it a bit faster.
My project is only 3 and 1/2 months old and if you could have seen it on
day
one you would not recognize it now. I dropped by the previous owner’s work
on Saturday
and he could not believe what it looked like. He asked me to work on his
Rabbit convertible.
I said no, but if you had a Scirocco..........

See you soon.
Did you still want both "SCIROCCO" plates or just one?
The "S" badge just needs the caps so I think I will keep mine.

Doug
