I know that this topic has probably been beaten to death in this group, but
bear with me... I'm a new VW owner who's got some problems.

How the HELL do I install an aftermarket stereo system in a 1985 Scirocco!?
Doing it in my old Chevy was cake... take out some screws, drop the amplifier
and head unit in, and you're on your way. In the Scirocco, I can't seem to
find any screws holding the door trim down, and I think that the carpet is
seriously glued down. WHAT DO I DO?

Also, any tips on where to go through the firewall for the amp. power wiring?
