Congrats in scaring orr the bad guys! At least somebody was smart enough 
to get an alarm...

Watch out about calling people Hooligans in a negative tone... I have 
'Hooligan Racing' stickers on my side window!  Rob Kuhn from the 
VintagVW list made up his own list for Hooligans- no matter what they 
drive!  :-D


Concerning the mirrors, I know those little Vittiolini (sp) Turbo 
mirrors... the ones with the flexi boot.. they bolt up to the MK1's 
holes in the door.   Other than that, you could put GTI mirrors or maybe 
those cool cup mirrors you see in the Euro-rags...
