The answer to this is "I don't think so."  The size of the panel is larger
in the A3, and the mechanism (tracks, etc.) is accordingly a different size
too.  The slotted "control plates" are of a different style than found in
the tilt-slide roof offered in Scirocco 2's and Audi 4000's, as well.  I
think the only successful way one could do the swap would be by taking a
clip out of the A3, grafting it onto the Roc.  Evil.

all this talk about s/r s has me thinking

is it possible to use an A3 glass roof in a rocco.  I know they tilt
and slide.  I know it is possible to swap a rocco roof into a golf or
something.  I was curious cause that glass roof would be sweet
