anyone ever heard of a 16S?

I have some info on this. Oettinger developed a 16V in advance of the
factory. I think it was also sold in Germany.

oettinger apparently tuned a number of 16V golfs for the french market
in the 80s.  it was called the golf 16S, i think.  anyone ever heard of
this rare beast, or have any info on it?
