COPS: the enemy

Sorry I have to rant about this type of crap on the list but I do.  I
just got pulled over in Redmond, Wa (home of microsuck) for having no
front license plate.  First off, the cop must have been using binoculars
to see that I had no license plate because usually my cop
radar(internal) goes off if a pig is within 100yards but when I'm not
doing anything wrong I guess I let my guard down.  Front license plates
a a joke anyway, I'm going to make sure mine is bent kinda funny to
screw with their radar when I put it on.  I shoulda outran him cause by
the time I saw him coming to the time he caught up to me I could have
been far gone cause my acceleration far exceeds his POS chev. Don't cops
have better things to do that harrass taxpayers for stupid ass shit. 
Maybe they need to go after some criminals or something.  They have just
stepped my road rage up by 2 notches.  The bad part has yet to be stated
though.  He said he'd let me off with a warning for no front plate but I
don't have insurance yet since I bought the car last week so he gave me
a $480 ticket.  He said I could get it reduced to 25 if I got
insurance.  I don't want a $25 ticket, that's not good enough, I want NO
ticket.  I thought you had 30 days to insure a new vehicle.  This is
what I've heard from everyone else I know and I told the cop this about
5 times but he said that this was wrong.  I even told a friend about
this and he said he got pulled over in his 924 turbo about 5 miles from
here and he didn't have insurance and the cop said, "oh you just got the
car, well you have a valid excuse then".  What gives???  do I have pull
me over written on my license plate or something.  It makes me want to
start driving nastily everywhere since at least my guard is 100% when
speeding.  To hell with bad(most I believe) cops.  If their pulling me
over for this instead of taking care of some real issues(murder, theft,
rape, etc.) then what is this world coming to.  It's time to take a
stand against this harrassment.  One time here in redmond in my 4x4 I
got pulled over for bald front tires.  I think the damd prick pulled me
over and looked for something wrong.  He tried to ding me for no rear
bumper also but I told him very firmly that it came stock that way and
since it did you are required to have one.  Why is it that all of the
cops enforce a different set of laws?  Andre, any insight?
