Clutch Mileage

"Oh, I have heard that Scirocco clutches are reknown to go bad
sooner than later."

This is not true.

Scirocco clutches are the same ones used on Rabbits, Golfs, Jettas, etc.
(except for the 16V).

Premature wear is usually driver induced.

Expect plenty of miles if you know how to drive a manual transmission.

Oh, I have heard that Scirocco clutches are reknown to go bad
sooner than later. Has anyone else heard or know about this?
Maybe it's just that 'roc drivers can't resist popping their
clutches too often! I have tried to treat mine with kindness.
