Paint Jobs

I feel like givin' 'er a paint job when i'm satisfied with the cosmetic and
body patches i do to it.  Right now its black, but i feel like painting it
purple, no not girly tacky shit purple, i'm thinking midnight purple (does
that exists?), like so dark that you can only see a hint 'o it in the
sunshine, but at night it looks midnight black (thus "midnight purple").
What do you guys think?  Tacky?

Does anyone have any recomendations for paint types/brands?
