Re: Car shudders when turning left - what gives?



Try inspecting your intake boots for cracks. If you have
one, it will cause the very symptoms you are describing.
When you accelerate or put the engine in any kind of bind,
the crack opens up, letting in un-metered air that causes
your car to buck violently.

If this is the problem, you're lucky. The boots are cheap.
