     One trick I use for adhesive removal is, I have one of those Halogen 
     dual work light stands.  2 500watt halogen lights which get hot as 
     hell.  I will crank em on and place them a couple of inches away from 
     the molding/glue/ what I need to unstick, and after 5 minutes its soft 
     and ready to go.  
     
     The 3m product also comes recommended by most body shops I have talked 
     to.  
     
     -or- use some Kerosene to remove tar and adhesive also, it should not 
     damage your paint, but it will remove wax.
