 Adjustable cam Sprocket  was designed for Modified Motors and sold to the
Public because of marketing.(public view) >> The idea is if its on a Race car
well i guess i need it right????  
It works totally different than just retarding your timing from the
distributor (electronic timing or not) 
For example: if your head is shaved down it has totally changed your setting
for your stock cam . what i mean by changes settings : now your cam exhausts
at a different time than you had it originaly. its slight but it is now
different. you adjust it back or foward to compensate. You go from there to
set your timing in the convential manor.Its changing your reference point .
since your teeth on your timing belt are always going to stay the same either
off a tooth or half tooth either way the only way to adjust to a half of
tooth  is the cam sprocket . 

im not going to comment on the electronic timing because it is unrelated to
the original Question was is there a 16v adjustable cam sprocket made.

as far as the insurance comment<< As a Manufacting company it is a
requirement to list all products offered to rate similar to a liability
insurance for your car.
