Put me down for a 'me-too' on the seat conversion.  I took out the Recaros
from my first Scirocco 'S' just for this purpose.  I've been hauling
them through 4 moves over 5 years.  Please let me know if anyone has
any information on either a how-to approach, or a business that may
be interested.  I'd pay to have this done. :-)  As an aside, the drivers'
side is in pretty rough shape (what a suprise).  Is there a source
for the original fabric or coverings? (Probably not, I know)
