Wait a sec, KEF used to/still does make a woofer that's about 6x8 or 6x9; I
think they called it a racetrack or something.  From what I've heard it's a
pretty decent driver.  But it is the exception.  There are NO high-end
6x9's on the car audio market, IMO.

These are good ideas, but the install bill alone for a job like this will
be several hundred dollars.  This is probably not within most peoples'
budgets...

But for audiophile geeks like me, it is worth it :)  I'll be doing this
very install myself with a set of a/d/s separates, hopefully by the end of
the summer...
